We all know I like a good photo, so I love getting the boys and I dressed and prepped for the next great family snap. Especially as we come into the warmer weather and like most families, weekends are flat out with BBQ’s, drinks with friends and of course endless kids parties, with this month hosting our very own for a Mr 4 year old. So it was a backyard party, with close family, his mates, lots of sugar, a visit from a real pirate and of course everything dinosaur.

Turning to the prep and importantly what to wear, well being a bit of pro at online shopping, (is it wrong that the postman knows me and the kids by name?) I love to be able to grab everything for the whole family from the one website.

When living in the UK I was a massive fan of Marks and Spencer with its authentic and British heritage making it an iconic store. I am happy now having it available right here in Oz and made super easy to purchase those same timeless pieces online. I love for its good quality and stylish designs, for the whole family, and with ridiculous fast postage from the U.K. (with express postage 4-6 days and only $7.50), making it easy to grab everyone’s outfits for the 4th birthday from the one place.

When picking my outfit for a kids party, I always take into account I’ll want to be able to run after the kids, set up the games but still feel a little glam at the same time, so I went with this red number, Tie Neck Dress the teaming it of course with some comfy flats for this day is a must.

Like most of us I need to be able to get as much wear out of my clothes as possible, so they need to be versatile, so it was easy to take this gorgeous red Tie Neck Dress and add more glam with some hot colourful heels and team it with this M&S super cute Star Clutch and I am ready to head out on my next night out on the weekend.

The boys and I are dressed in Marks and Spencer, hop these pieces and the best staples at www.marksandspencer.com/au/
