Date nights, even though they are few and far between, I look forward to them.
We have made a commitment this year to have more date nights or days together, as quality time as a couple is really important. However, when you have two young kids at home constantly hanging off you, it can seem an effort to look special for the occasion, so I have teamed up with Marks and Spencer to give you all my favourite date night looks, AND keeping them all under $100 each. Now to book the babysitter and we are set.
Look 1. Mr K and I love a good movie night, and even better heading to our local cinema which serves wine… bonus. So a casual all white look is what I love about this one. Keeping it clean and wearing white on white is perfect for summer, and let’s face it I can’t wear white around my boys, so it’s the only chance I get. Look 2. The dinner date. When heading out for dinner with the kids it’s usually the earlier the better, so dinners start at 5.30pm latest. First to arrive, first to leave, and you soon learn to inhale your meals in record time in order to slot between tantrums. So when the opportunity for an adult time dinner date, that can take well over an hour, arises, it’s definitely a treat. So the LBD (little black dress) is the only way to go and the Floral Print 3/4 sleeve waisted mini dress at just $94 is my go to dress this season.
Look 3. I love a good fun boozy lunch date with the hubby. So a nice pair of flattering mid-rise denim jeans ($48), worn with a cool black Floral Print Shell top tucked in ($52), with a belt and heels and you are good to go for a fun day time date that can take you into evening.
